The Automatic Generation of State Transient Networks
for the Analysis of Planar Assembly Operations
Abstract: Assembly operations are analyzed with use of a State
Transient Network, where different contact states of assembly parts
are represented by individual nodes of the graph, while transients
between a pair of contact states aredenoted by arcs. An algorithm for
the automatic generation of the state transient network is then
developed.
